2010 Castrol SYNTEC Top Car Challenge
Last year, we were doing quite well in the competition, but due to a discrepancy, we ended up in fifth place. During the drag race portion, our driver jumped the gun before the timing lights were ready, resulting in a disqualification. The rules stated that teams are only allowed three passes and since our car had the boost cut out on the first two runs, we were never able to post up any official times. We did end up finishing the unofficial pass (that didn't count for points) and if the time would have been counted, we would have placed second overall in the competition.
For the 2010 Castrol Syntec Top Car Challenge we have a pretty good idea of what it takes to win based on last year's competition: all-wheel drive with turbo power is pretty much what we need to finally take home the gold.
